  I had the most pleasurable experience at LOOP two days ago. I am new to knitting and a kind young lady, her name began with a K, she nicely introduced me to the right size needles, yarns and and looped it into a ball ( I’m still such a newbie o don’t have the terminology down right haha! ) overall, I didn’t want to leave. It was so cozy, warm and welcoming. A true gem to Philadelphia!

  Stumbled on this lovely yarn shop while visiting Philly. Walked in and immediately was made to feel so welcome, encouraged to rest, take my time and enjoy the space. It was so delightful to walk into a yarn shop and feel so accepted even being from out of town. Staff were incredibly helpful, friendly and their custom dyed yarn is gorgeous!

  Great shop! The staff is knowledgeable and proactive without being intrusive. They had great suggestions for yarns to go with patterns. The store is well organized by yarn weight and subdivided by color so it's easy to find what you're looking for. They have a good selection of yarns you already know and love (Malabrigo!) and a gorgeous store dyed brand that comes in the most divine colors. They also carry notions (interchangeable needle sets!) and cute bags and totes (hand drawn designs by the owner). Parking is hit or miss, it's South Street IYKYK. Park where you can and stop at one of the myriad of coffee shops on your walk.

  Lovely yarn, hand dyed by the owners. They also carry other brands. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. It seems to be a gathering place for local yarn people.
