- MBMichael BarberSep 3, 20253.0It's not The Long John Silver's of old. It has been a very long time. It was a favorite of mine 80's & 90's. The look of the fried fish pieces had a different look. Maybe it was fried longer or maybe the oil gave it a dark orangey look and not the light color of most batter dipped fried foods. It still taste the same so no problem there. Had a pretty cool promotion, can pick one SeaShare (I chose the 6 fish) for spending $25. That's very easy these days at most fast food restaurants. The promotion was a $14 value. Not bad. Also the fries are now Waffle Fries. That made a nice difference in the meal. Overall decent meal great value with the promo.
