Sexiest bar in dc. I don’t drink anymore but they have solid food and killer decor. Heard Renee is running it now, he’s a dope dude. Definitely check it out, they have pool, food, cocktails, beer and party. Recommend 10/10.

I’ve rarely had a burger with no taste/flavor but that’s what I had tonight and it was over cooked. Incredibly disappointed as its sister restaurant Hawk n Dove has great burgers. Also, I think there were like 12 fries on my plate. Really???? Also, the new bartender didn’t know the answers to any questions which would understand but she didn’t go get the answers. Not sure I’ll return.

How can you describe yourself as a Sports bar but be closed on Sundays and during the day on Saturday? Odd. Edited after owner comment. My post had a typo which created confusion. It shows up as a sports bar when googling. That is why it seems odd to be closed so much of the weekend. Spirits vs sports!

I am a regular at this establishment. However, on Friday night, I experienced the worst customer service ever from the bartender, Shay! She was rude and simply unpleasant. My guest and I sat at the bar, and she constantly walked by us without speaking or taking our order. The other bartender, Christine, that was working the other side of the bar, had to come assist us because Shay was not. Very unprofessional and Shay may need some coaching on customer service or simply leave such a high customer facing role. Surprisingly, I’ve had her as a bartender before, and it was a completely different experience. I definitely don’t want to stop frequenting Lola based on this one experience. But it’s too expensive to dine out in DC and receive service with an attitude. I can stay home for that matter!
