Sheila’s work is amazing! We recently brought her my mother’s childhood doll from the 1950s, which has been well loved and accordingly had a host of problems (among other things, a head about to fall off, a missing hand from a scrape with my mom’s dog, and rubber that was sticky). It was important to me that the history of this doll not be lost, including the repairs my mom had attempted to make over the years. And, I also wanted her to feel like the doll I remembered growing up (she was my doll, too, when I was young). In short, I gave Sheila a pretty tall order. I picked the doll up today, and I could not be happier. Sheila found a hand that looks like it was probably original to this doll and was able to attach it in a way that preserved the history of the terrible mishap that had befallen her so many years ago (and had become part of her story). Her skin is no longer tacky, her head is stable, and my mom’s repairs are still evident. We also brought her my mother-in-law’s doll from the 30s, which needed some brightening up but clearly had lived a far more sheltered life. She did a beautiful job on her as well, including finding appropriate clothing that had long ago been lost, and making her shine, while again preserving the doll’s rich history. Her attention to detail and clear love for her craft are both a rarity in today’s world. We cannot recommend Shiela highly enough.

Sheila’s work is outstanding! She returned the dolls I sent to her in even better condition than they were than I had them. I am blown away by her craftsmanship! And, I’m so grateful for her very fair pricing, transparency of process and timely delivery. Thank you so much for your wonderful work!

Took in 7" plastic figure in seven pieces. Reattaching 65 year-old parts required skill and patience. Excellent results and fair labor charge. Highly recommend.

I took three China head dolls to the Little Flower Hospital. These are family heirlooms from Germany, and over one hundred years old. They were in very poor condition, but because they were my grandmother’s, I wanted to preserve them. Words cannot describe how beautifully they were restored. With beautiful bodies and clothing appropriate to the late 1800’s. I left another doll and I trust Sheila to work more magic .

I had a doll that had been a gift from my grandmother. Her hair had turned from red to a weird green color over time and one day I went to move her and all of her hair disintegrated! I brought her here, and she got new hair and all cleaned up. She looks great.
