  I came here on September 25th at around 8pm. I was excited to browse the store because the previous year my friend bought me the matcha flavoured chocolates and I loved it. The male worker seemed nice and said that they didn’t have the matcha flavoured ones available but they did have them in the pre-packaged ones and that they would be willing to open them to sell us the matcha ones individually. I was hoping to buy a couple chocolates but, my friend told me that we needed to leave. When we left the store, she informed me that apparently she heard him saying “If you can even afford to buy one” behind my back to the other female staff, to which she apparently laughed at I’m not sure if my friend is telling the truth or if I’m just in denial that it happened, because I’ve never been treated that way before in any retail store I’ve been to. Insinuating that my financial status does not meet whatever standard is needed to purchase your chocolates is discriminatory and reflects poor customer service. Are we not selling chocolates here? I saw they had the Dubai chocolate and I wanted to get that too but, I guess not because my friend was already forcing me out of the store. Also, is it really that serious? Does working at Lindt really make you that unsatisfied with your life? To the male worker that worked that day, I suggest you gain some courage and say whatever you need to say directly to people instead of being a coward, hiding behind a facade, and talking behind peoples back. I hope you don’t get fired for this review considering how bad the job market is but, I hope this helps redirect you towards a better future for yourself as you clearly seem unhappy to be working at Lindt. I may not have heard it directly from you but, seeing how offended my friend was for me is enough for me to never want to come back again. Whatever happens, good luck, and I hope you can find some peace and kindness in your life. (By the way, their dark chocolate is SOOOOO good! I just have to buy it at London Drugs or Walmart now I guess).

  All female staff is polite and helpful with customers but the male one is rude, impatient and impolite.

  Walked in today with my mom and the india student never offered us the free candy because we are punjabi but yet took her little red ridinghood basket full pf candies and offered it to other ethnic back rounds so guess what we left and went to richmond center and spend our $400 on my wedding chocolates at purdys! Maybe take a class on ethics and customer service!
