Website states they accept VA benefits. My son and I toured the campus on Saturday and I explained we were using VA benefits. They stated they did not accept them. I tried to explain how it worked. We had to speak to financial aid anyway. So we decided to wait until we could speak to them. The VA website did say they were a participating school. My son started today and when he tried to explain the VA benefits they shut him down..."we don't do that." Now there was no explanation. Then his admissions counselor told him "I told you we don't do that and I wasted my time on this application. You were a good fit for this school but now you're not." No, sir, you should not have incorrect information in your website. You wasted our time. And being a good fit has nothing to do with lies and deception.

Don't do it. Don't fall for this financial trap. Gain an apprenticeship and learn on the job site. My teachers here spent our class time watching basketball reruns and smoking cigarettes. Mr. King specifically wasted an entire quarter failing to teach us electrical. The school spit me out into an industry completely un prepared and now im in huge debt. Please do not fall for this trap.

Real Talk About This School and the Industry: Honestly, this automotive program is a waste of time and money. The certificate they give you doesn’t really prepare you for the ASE exam, and the reality is, ASE certification doesn’t matter much unless you're going into a government job. Dealerships care more about actual experience than the theory-heavy stuff they teach here. You can get your foot in the door without this school. Just go apply as a lube tech at a dealership or independent shop—places like Pep Boys are always hiring and you’ll learn more on the job. I've seen grads from this program who couldn’t even change oil and were let go within a week. Worse, the industry itself is in bad shape. Flat rate pay systems and low wages make it hard for techs to earn a fair living. Dealerships and repair chains underpay their techs and overcharge customers—everyone gets scammed in some way. This school is no different. They sell you a dream, take your money, and leave you unprepared for the real world. Think twice before signing up. You're better off learning by working than going into debt for a program that doesn’t deliver.
