This school is an absolute waste of money. If you notice, all the 5 stars seem to be posted around the same time. Why? Because they coerce the kids with “prizes” to write a 5 star review, 2 months into the program. The welding program is awful. The lady who gave my tour when I first signed up promised me and others there were certifications. My first day however, they told us she was lying. The instructors are practically useless, as someone with prior knowledge of welding.. everything they’re teaching you (at least what mine was teaching me) is backwards. All of the kids constantly steal each other’s things and there’s no punishment, you just have to completely restart. We were taught to use the Oxyfuel torch to cut our pieces (only had to ever cut barely anything in the time being) Which is one of the most ineffective ways to cut, I asked why we couldn’t use the bandsaw, they told me because they wanted us to know he to cut with the torch..Ok cool. Wrong. The saw apparently has been broken for months and they refuse to fix it, nice to see where my 30 thousand dollars are going. On top of that, we have to use coupons from other kids because we can’t cut out own pieces, all of our plates come from the scrap bin. If you’re thinking about coming here. DONT!

Terrible experience here. Clearly these reviews were purchased. This is supposed to be a hands on trade school and 90% of everything I did here was on a computer. I decided to leave since I was sitting behind a computer all day with a terrible instructor who used to complain about everything in his life and couldn’t keep his personal life outside of the business aspect, so after wasting a month due to the terrible instructor they offer me to RESTART FROM 0 OR DROP THEN HAVE THE NERVE TO BILL ME FOR $4,300 after telling me I don’t owe them anything as long as I bring everything back which I did. I have to waste another month due to the instructors terrible teaching habits? The whole class went to the office to complain about that specific instructor. MR. SAMUELS, IF YOU HAVE HIM, RUN! WithIn a month we went to the shop ONCE. SCHOOL IS FROM 6-10:15 or at least it was supposed to be. EVERYDAY BY 8:30 we were out. The hands on work is rushed and minimal. They have instructors here teaching courses and have no clue what they're doing, putting on YouTube videos and walking out of the class cause they run the school, administration takes no initiative to make sure the instructors are teaching. This was a waste. Don’t waste your time, save your money and go elsewhere. Somewhere you’ll learn something and do hands on as they advertise.

I’ve only just recently started here but the community at Lincoln tech is amazing. The instructors and admissions crew are super welcoming and are available to answer questions almost all the time. Mr.B is a super sweet instructor too he really is here for the best of the students.

Currently enrolled in the diesel trade. Great instructors who are passionate about the material they teach. Learned a lot in only a month so far and the staff cares a lot about the students.
