I would like to say a lot about this school. But most of that would probably cause this review to get taken down. To sum it all up, this school is incompetent. The teachers for the most part are incompetent, financial aid, the business department, all incompetent. I received very little hands on which was promised to me by my admissions advisor (who is basically just a salesman anyway actually). The homework that was assigned was poorly presented and uninformative. Several classes consisted of just sitting there doing nothing while the instructor did nothing as well. Instructors were not well prepared for classes. The little hands on learning I received was very poor as they were cram 5-6 people on a one person project expecting everyone to do it and learn something within a short time period. The whole school was unprofessional. I was called an S.O.B by my instructor (I’m not necessarily offended by it, but how unprofessional is that to curse at your student like that?). Another instructor forced me against my will to bring my car in several times for labs (the school had over 10 lab vehicles they could have used) resulting in my car coincidentally breaking down after bringing it into class and my classmates and instructor messing around with it. But apparently I signed a form at the beginning of school saying that I was required to bring my car in for labs if told to and no one was responsible for damage done to it even if they caused it. Talk about absolute bull crap. So I was left without a vehicle for a while due to that form and an incompetent instructor. I could go further but I won’t. This review is long enough already. Also, the cost of tuition, $40,000 just for a stupid diploma that I actually informed I had to pay extra for to actually receive it. Unless I wanted to spend an extra $4000-$10,000 more to get the associates degree they offer. Compare this to Ivy Tech that gives you an associates degree in automotive technology and shop management for only $10,000. Should’ve gone to Ivy Tech. On top of all of this, no one’s absolutely NO ONE has gotten back with any of my phone calls, emails, text messages or anything. I have been having issues with my financial aid and billing and what not, and want confirmation on some things and I have sent emails from both my personal and school email accounts and no one has responded, I made phone calls and no one responds so I left messages and no one returns my calls. INCOMPETENT. I even tried going in person several times and every time I was either told “oh we’ll figure it out” and they wouldn’t actually help me or do anything or I’d be redirected somewhere else that was even less helpful. If you go on a tour or apply for the school, they’ll be really nice and helpful at first, they’ll make it seem like a good experience, but once you start, it’s a nightmare. Don’t waste your time. Don’t waste your money. Don’t waste your life with Lincoln Tech. And if the school sees this and knows who it’s from and would like to contact me because of this review, feel free to contact me with a phone call or get back with my emails I’ve been sending nonstop. Might make me consider bumping you to two stars instead of one.

Love how the explanations of road construction are a different color driving through construction. Right on point
