Currently enrolled and haven't gotten much in the way of education just a bunch of "guys" yelling a bunch of nonsense that makes no sense. Don't bother to ask for help they are too busy changing there tires or hanging out with their friends that come disrupt class I can honestly say I'm not feeling comfortable with the way it's going, I got a job in the industry thank God but where's the help? Where the advisors that I've set meetings up with? This is feeling like I'm getting stuck in the mud. I also asked for them to open the modules for the next week so I could see what they would be talking about..... Forget that not even. Why would they? Regardless of the babling review I feel lost here

Complete waste of time and money Do not send your child to housing at this school. Unless you want them exposed to every element possible and a apartment manager that should be fired

Between the teachers hitting on your classmates when you need to grab some coupons and the welding supervisor being a power hungry weirdo that gets his confidence from getting a fellow teacher to help him press teenagers there isn’t really much to justify the 30k payment for the welding program So many problems in this school that show they don’t know what they’re doing Teachers not knowing the difference between quality rods and ones from Home Depot that will never be allowed on a construction site Teachers don’t allow you to weld anything that strays from the current class you’re in The program is called “pipe welding” You don’t actually weld anything pipe until your 6th class (every class is 5 weeks long) And even worse the class is for stick pipe so if you’re hoping to go tig pipe which 90% of jobs will make you do as a PIPE WELDER Speaking of tig the procedure that was specifically invented for pipe doesn’t ever get taught for pipe and is only taught for structural which is what stick is for Also since they love stick so much it’s weird how all their rods are always bent up and thrown into the canisters for everybody to use Also they don’t tell you this but it’s very clear they’re not actually teaching you to be a pipe welder and instead trying to push you towards a shop welder focusing on mig welding They don’t try to hide this at all as they have more mig classes for you than any other class and the job fairs that they host are all meant for mig welders and on top of that the jobs they try to push you towards all put you on a apprenticeship program where you will be paid as an apprentice and not a welder which wouldn’t be so bad if you were actually an apprentice but they still make you weld sooo
