- TDTammy DeGoodJun 21, 20251.0I can't even get my permit yet. I have a hearing July 23, 2025. Intoxalot gave me 3 violations and I never could start the car. I couldn't breath hard enough. So I went with life savor . Now. I can't get a human to talk to me and my calibration is July 23 as well. Help!

This device is faulty, difficult to use, and the customer service is beyond awful. I've had such a terrible experience with this company that I had to go with intoxalock and since switching the experience has been amazing. Avoid lifesafer or else risk losing your license again because of this poorly constructed device.

This is a one-time installation fee that you'll pay at the beginning of your lease period for the device. You'll pay this fee directly to the service center that installs the device in your vehicle. Additional fees are usually incurred every time you must have your device calibrated and vary by state.
How does an interlock device/car breathalyzer work?
After the device is set up, drivers need to breathe into the car breathalyzer's mouthpiece to provide a sample. This device checks the driver’s breath alcohol concentration (BAC) to measure it is within legal limits.
