This company is absolutely horrible along with the employee who works here in Hagerstown. Not only are the employees on the phone (out of state) absolutely brain dead, they are also unmotivated. But... regarding the guy who works here in town... he is absolutely horrible. Very unprofessional, rude, dresses like a hood gangster, and he is downright unpleasant to associate with in any way. He absolutely hates his job and maybe even his life if there's any carryover from his job to his normal life. Please DO NOT use this company and do not give these incompetent people your money. There's plenty of other companies out there that install the interlock, and honestly if they're slightly more expensive it's worth it.

The man in the shop was rude and made no effort to be helpful. When I asked to speak with his supervisor he responded by saying that he couldn't give me his supervisor's cell phone number and said that there was no other way to contact his supervisor. I asked if he would give his supervisor my name and phone number and ask him to call me and he said "No". I hope that his supervisor reads this and addresses the issue.

Would not recommend to anyone, ever! Horrible customer service. Every month when I go to get my service, the technician looks miserable and forced to be there. I have never been greeted upon entering the establishment. The technician typically has his hoodie up staring at the computer. He barely makes an effort to acknowledge your presence. Every time I go, I walk in he opens the garage door and sits in silence until I pull my vehicle in. The only communication that takes place is when he is asking for payment. You are mandated to watch a video explaining what you can expect while having an interlock installed, as well as the technicians ability to walk you through any questions or concerns you may have. Asking questions is like pulling teeth, I get very short and degrading responses. On my last visit he was to busy to take a work related phone call but had no problem talking to a girl on his cell phone. I've seriously debated giving up my privilege to drive to never have to see this guy again!

This includes instructions on proper usage, what to avoid prior to using the device, and tips for ensuring it operates effectively. Please do not hesitate to ask your certified installer any questions you may have about your car breathalyzer and our services.
How much does an ignition interlock device cost?
The cost for installing a LifeSafer ignition interlock device, also known as a car breathalyzer, usually ranges from $70 to $150. This is a one-time installation fee that you'll pay at the beginning of your lease period for the device. You'll pay this fee directly to the service center that installs the device in your vehicle. Additional fees are usually incurred every time you must have your device calibrated and vary by state.
How does an interlock device/car breathalyzer work?
After the device is set up, drivers need to breathe into the car breathalyzer's mouthpiece to provide a sample. This device checks the driver’s breath alcohol concentration (BAC) to measure it is within legal limits. Typically, if the BAC is below .025, the driver is then clear to insert their keys and start the vehicle.
