Don't be fooled by "FREE INSTALLATION " buyer BEWARE!! I just spent $9,500 on upgrading my pool equipment in Mansfield, Texas, on a free installation promo. I did everything through Leslie. This has been the absolute WORST experience of my life! The tech, some guy named Harry, showed up a day before the install to do an evaluation. The tech didn't know what i'd purchased so he ask me if i knew. So unprepared to do your job! I obviously could not ramble off every single piece of equipment I purchased. So I asked him if he knew what he was supposed to do by coming out that day, since to me, you can't do an effective evaluation if you don't know what i purchased. The guy seemed either new or inept. It turns out he was inept. He contacted the store, I'm assuming, and finally figured out what i purchased.
He came back the next day (Saturday) to do the install. After getting my equipment installed by him which was a shabby installation job, he could not get my intellicenter to connect to the internet. The automation which was delivered the same time he did the evaluation, was installed the next day with a crack in it. Harry told me I'd have to contact Pentair and give them the serial number of the automation and they'd cover it. Guess what... the serial number was on the BACK of the intellicenter box that was screwd into my fence! Nonetheless, I contacted Pentair and they told me it's a Leslie's issue and they don't warranty equipment that was damaged during shipping. I had to call Leslie's back to tell them that!!! So many phone calls I as a Customer had to make to fix this..Every time is call Leslie's, they would tell me I'd have to call someone else. Well, after talking to Pentair, i called Leslie's back and now they are saying they will order a new automation and install it. Why the first one was installed with a crack in it, I don't know. So another issue was my booster pump was leaking right after Harry installed it and left, yes the same day it was installed. I demanded a different tech come out fix it and they obliged. A different tech came out today and stated the other guy didn't install it properly. He supposedly fixed the issue and when I got home today, the entire hose had broken off and water was everywhere! My pool pump was running and the water level of my pool had gotten below the skimmer so I'm sure there is other damage to my brand new, $9,500 system. And when I called the store..at 5pm cst no one answered. I text the GM, Jordan, and sent video of the pump broken and water shooting everywhere and he didn't respond. I am beyond upset. This is absolutely ridiculous. I didn't even mention Customer service attempts to charge me for the second tech to come out!
So right now :
My water level is below the skimmer
My 3k intellicenter is cracked and doesn't work properly (can't connect to the internet and had a crack in it)
My booster pump is broken and water is everywhere
No acknowledgement from anyone (other that the second tech that came out today)
The worst customer experience I've ever had bar none!! Congratulations Leslie's Pool LLC!
