Asked two young boys that work there about shock for my pool Sat May 11,2025. I need the kind that won’t hurt my salt generator. I need the kind that won’t force me to drain my pool. One of the cocky kids gave me the wrong product. Neither one of them should be working there if they don’t know what they’re selling, buy from another store. I have to drive 20 minutes away and return the product now.

I won’t be returning to this store. I’ve always hesitated to shop here because the employees tend to question everything I buy, even when I don’t ask for advice. They often come across as condescending, but my last visit was the worst experience yet. When I went to pick up my online order of Chlor-brite, the young man behind the counter became visibly upset. He started berating me, questioning why I was buying it and telling me it would raise my pool’s acidity, all without knowing anything about our pool setup. My husband has managed our pool perfectly fine for years, and I was simply there to pick up a product we needed. The situation got so uncomfortable that an older employee had to step in and tell him to back off, allowing me to pay and leave. This employee clearly needs a break from customer service. From now on, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. Amazon, Walmart, etc. are half the price anyway.
