- MCMark CernigliaOct 22, 20251.0Bought chlorine multiple times here not only is it expensive i get a water sample tested after 3 gallons and the test days low chlorine next day.... my pool stays green when I buy from there if I go to cliffs I put in 1 or 2 gallons and it tests normal chlorine I swear they water down they're expensive chlorine.... never again will I waste money on

We had our first water test performed by salesperson Geo (#48093) on 12/1 who pulled up our prior customer purchases and asked us basic questions about the pool. He completed the test that included a printout of recommendations. Geo was not comfortable discussing the results and advised to come back when there is a manager in the store. We did purchase alkaline up that he suggested we buy. On 12/3 our pool water turned very cloudy and became aware that the pool chlorinator was not working. We went to the store and worked with Joe (#50814). He could not locate any prior purchases or water tests in the records. He blamed this on his co-worker Geo who he said had beed working there longer than he and still doesn't know what he is doing. He performed a test and was made aware that our chlorinator was not working. He advised to purchase conditioner $36.99; Hardness Plus 25# $49.99; and alkaline up 10# @ $26.99. We asked should the supplies not be needed once the chlorinator is repaired could we return them? He agreed we could. Today 12/11 I returned to the location with these supplies and set them on the floor. He asked whats going on with this? I replied that chemicals could not be returned. I was outraged and told him he is a liar . He had the nerve to pick up a sign and put it in my face and pointed out the fine print about no chemical returns.Is obvious that these employees are not properly trained and lack supervision. No need to be treat a customer so poorly and rip them off.
