PREVIOUSLY: I have literally been oversold product before at Leslie's and went into town to Foxx pools where I had an accurate test and saved over $100 on non needed products Leslie's sold me. Returned everything to Leslie's and they asked why and I told them exactly why. This proceeded with an eye roll (don't think this was first time they got this) but issued my refund. Had no issues getting pool balanced with Foxx's recommendations. I vowed never to back to Leslie's. Well here I go into town for 1 item and I figure Leslie's is closer to me and it's 1 item and I know exactly what I need. Got to the store grabbed the item marked $22.99 and it rings up $23.99. I point this out on the tag and the clerk says yes that was before inventory someone didn't change the tag. The clerk goes silent waiting for me to pay...I said are you not going to change the price by a dollar. He said no $23.99 is the price. I told him they could keep their dollar and the product that was false advertising. This is not the 1st time things conveniently ring up higher here than what is on the sticker. I promised the clerk since I was a Google guide that I would write this review as I left. I even went back in to ask for an owner or someone to contact tomorrow. I was given a managers card, but still not offered the product at the dollar lower price as it was marked. This place from my several past and current experience are con artist and I guess just assume because it's pool and spa they can get away with price gouging. Please do yourself a favor and visit Foxx pools they will save you money and not have you buy products you don't need.
