- DBDonna BeckerSep 21, 20161.0I ordered a sand filter for a 5000 gal pool at the store in Harlingen Texas on the 6th of September. I was told it would take about a week for delivery from the counter help who placed the order. On the 14th I called the store to see what was happening because the filter never arrived and I never received an email about my order.The girl there told me she knew nothing about the order and to call the main office. I called the min office that day and they said they won't even ship till the 10th business day. That I would receive an email once it shipped . I called back on the 18th and was told no it had not shipped but it was on back order anyway. I asked why I wasn't told that on the 14th, or better still on the 6th. I was informed "I don't know" No apologies....I canceled my order and then went to Walmart and purchased a comparable sand filter for $120.00 less I was charged from Leslie's. Pools. Plus it will be at my home by the 29th. I received the confirming email and the tracking info the same night I made the order. I would not recommend Leslie's Pools to my worst enemy.......The only reason I gave them a one star is because it wouldn't post without it
