- MWMarc WelhavenAug 20, 20235.0Here is a feather for Rory’s hat!!. We have not been able to get our pool clear no matter what we've done. Today I was speaking with Rory, I told him my valve in recirc would not have water coming out of the pool jets. He immediately suggested that if my multi position valve had been changed it could have been installed in the wrong position. This made perfect sense, when I got home I took the valve off and started to examine the position of valve block in various positions relative to the inlet and outlet lines. Our pool man installed this valve last year at the end of season, and did not index it correctly! When in filter position it was actually in recirc and just flowing water and not running thru the filter. We have spent hundreds on chemicals and frustration all summer in not having a clear pool, actually next step would have been emptying 15000 gallons and starting over. Which would have been pointless, Rory’s experience nailed this issue.. thank you again for this! Sent from my Galaxy
