Justin made the buying process stress free and easy for my mom and I. She needed a bed and frame; Justin helped her find the perfect solution, without ever trying to pressure or upsell. Will be back for new couches after such excellent services.

Komal was excellent as a sales associate. She was the first associate to mention the loyalty program

I had a great experience purchasing a fridge from this establishment. The customer service was incredible from beginning to end. The person who helped me in the show room, any individual I spoke on the phone with, to the delivery drivers were all professional, kind, and seemed to have a good sense of humore. The delivery drivers definitely went above and beyond after I pulled a DA move and didn't measure my doorways. They came back a second time and told me how to dismantle the doorway to increase the space. They were both very patient and considerate. This will be my first stop for furniture and appliances. Everyone I had contact with made this a great experience.

Horrible customer service. Owner/manager shouldn't be at the counter talking to customers. She told my husband she didn't want his business after he had spent over $12,000.00 already this year at the Leons in Medicine Hat. He originally had gone in just to find out when our furniture was going to be arriving, after originally being told it would be arriving in August. She wasn't helpful at all and treated her customer badly. Very sad that's how they treat their customers. Guess they'll be losing more business.

Responding to the owner/manager, Trina: I want to clarify, Trina, that everything I posted was truthful. You also overlooked your statement about not wanting my business. While I believe you value your customers, including Hatters, it feels like your support for them isn't mutual. You seem eager for their business but aren't willing to reciprocate. We were initially informed that delivery would happen in August, but now you’re saying it’s pushed to October. Are you planning to delay the delivery intentionally because you feel our conversation was confrontational? For the record, I was calm. I’m not sure why you’d suggest we keep this conversation going when you previously told me you wouldn't assist me in anyway. I will continue to share my honest experiences about your store with anyone who asks. As I left your store, I told people not to buy there and one of your sales associates in a sarcastic way said “have a nice day.” When a large purchase is involved, timely delivery and clear communication are essential. Being told that the delivery is "on the water" twice without a clear timeline is certainly disheartening. Additionally, the owner's reaction to my concerns and her threat regarding slander is unprofessional and raises questions about customer service standards at that store. I spent over $12,000 at Leon’s in Medicine Hat, and the sales staff initially promised a delivery date sometime in August. When I followed up on this delivery date, the owner/ manager informed me it was "on the water," which was the second time we received that explanation. It seems that the store does not uphold the commitments made by its sales staff. I mentioned that I was a resident of Medicine Hat and would appreciate an opportunity for my business to help with a specific service need. The owner / manager declined strongly. So much for supporting fellow Hatters. During our conversation, the owner threatened to charge me with slander if I posted a negative review on social media. She reacted poorly to my questions and accused me of bad behaviour, and that I could be untruthful, ultimately stating that she no longer wanted my business. We paid the full price for our furniture, only to later learn that we could have paid just 25% until delivery and settled the rest afterward. When I pointed out that the sales staff never told us that, the owner's response was simply, "Well, he should have." I strongly encourage all Hatters to avoid Leon’s in Medicine Hat and if you have to buy from Leons perhaps pick what you want but order from a different store. Chances are you will receive a better delivery time and most certainly better customer service and what ever you do avoid a conversation with the Owner/Manager unless you want a good day to be destroyed by rudeness.
