Ethan is a true salesman who knows his products. Provided me with information to aid in my decision making process regarding my washer. I also received the same professionalism last year when I purchased our dryer. Many thanks. Delivery staff Ethan and Ryan delivered the washer with care and were very polite and courteous. Shipping bolts were removed for me and garbage was removed as well. The lads also took my old washer to my garage for disposal. Best delivery job I ever received. Many thanks, Brad Bertrand and family

My boyfriend and I bought a sectional from Leon's and we loved our experience! We met Trisha on our first walk through of the store and she was so kind and friendly but not pushy at all. She let us work through what we thought we might be looking for. We returned a couple of days later and still hadn't made up our mind. She was kind and patient and provided us with the details we needed. On our third visit, we were ready to make the purchase and she helped us through that process as well. We got our sectional delivered and everyone was great! They brought it upstairs, installed it, and took all of the garbage with them. We were very impressed with our experience, from start to finish!

My experience at Leon's was great. I just want to comment on my recent visit to Leon's Peterborough. I was there to look at some new bedroom furniture and was assisted by a charming and knowledgable sales person Trisha. I got some wonderful ideas for our bedroom. I have narrowed it down to 2 choices and was unable to make a decision that morning. In anticipation of our new bedroom set, I purchased 2 of the nices pillows I have ever slept on. I will revisit the store in the near future.

Beyond unhappy. Leon’s delivery team has damaged my house multiple times with walls, broken paintings and damaged floors. Furniture incorrectly built With a large painting falling down smashing the glass on the picture frame and resulting in me stepping on glass and slicing my food wide open. This could have been easily avoided by simply informing me as the homeowner that a minor accident had happened, the staff decided to rehang the picture and not inform me or anyone even the store only to then lead me to stepping on a chunk of glass and getting lodged into my foot causing bleeding and significant pain for following weeks. The store has agreed to the damages but continue to be combative over the exchange of the broke bedroom set not even 3 months old. The manger of the store then removed any discounts from the first damages and inconvenience total of 600$ only to find out I will be spending thousands more to replace the bedroom set and losing all compensation. I would and will not purchase any furniture from this store and will be returning all furniture and going with a more reliable supplier. When informing the staff of the hardware and drawers all falling apart I was met with the managers comment of some sets are not built with the same quality as other! This is very concerning as I trusted Leon’s staff to guide me in the right direction as money is not an issue I am a single and wanted a quality bedroom set vs the discounted broken set Leon’s clearly has profit over longevity of there products in mind. Look into the countless examples online of price gouging and lack of commitment to warranty products. I’d be ashamed to work for this company. See photos attached. Still waiting on a resolution from managers and corporate response before litigation starts. Save your self the stress and shop at better quality stores.

I normally avoid large box stores because the experience is rarely seamless, and unfortunately, my recent experience at Leon’s Peterborough reflected many of those same challenges. In June 2025, I visited the store looking for the perfect couch for my new home. As a single-income homeowner with a full-time job, I made a significant investment expecting quality and professionalism throughout the process. My couch took nearly three months to arrive, while my niece—who ordered a similar one six weeks later—received hers two weeks before mine, which didn’t make much sense. When my sales representative Jessica (who was wonderful to deal with) let me know my couch was ready, delivery was set for Monday. The delivery team arrived over an hour early, and after setup, I was told to attach the legs myself—unfortunately, there were no pilot holes, so I had to drill them myself. After assembling the couch, I discovered four large black grease stains on my new grey fabric, which was incredibly disappointing. I called immediately, and Leon’s sent out a cleaner to address it. Although she arrived an hour late, she was very polite and managed to remove the stains successfully. The challenge came afterward when I reached out to discuss compensation for the inconvenience and time lost. Initially, I was offered a $100 store credit, which I declined. Eventually, the store issued a $150 refund, which I accepted, though I still feel this did not fully reflect the disruption caused. I don't have more time to spend arguing on this matter. While I do appreciate the eventual resolution, the communication, or lack thereof, delay, and follow-up process fell short of what I would expect from a retailer of this size. Having worked in retail management for over 30 years, I know how valuable consistent customer care and accountability are to the overall experience. I sincerely hope Leon’s takes this feedback constructively and continues to improve its post-sale service and communication.
