Wish I could do seperate reviews for the individual staff. My sales associate Omar, 10/10, the 2 young guys in the warehouse that helped load everything 10/10. The older lady in the pink top, I believe she is one of the head managers however, was absolutely disgusting. Spent roughly $2100 with them and noticed the one cabinet was broken, Omar got the bill rewritten and got me a replacement one in no time, I apologized to the 2 gentlemen in the warehouse and they were completely understanding and said it may be a bit of a wait as it was the end of the day. Not a problem. The problem was when the lady in pink started getting upset, telling everyone that none of the sales people could go home until after my order was shipped, that this was "absolutely ridiculous", continued to rant and rave about it, infront of customers and then when I later asked if I could tip the 2 guys that helped she told me "yes, YOU SHOULD, thank you". Absolutely loved the service and atmosphere from everyone except her.

If I could go lower than 1 star I would. Purchased a couch and a recliner. The couch was delivered and one sided didn’t recline. Technician showed up the following week and fixed it. Two weeks later we were told the chair was finally in stock. Delivery was set. Drivers arrived and the chair was so damaged no body could sit on it. Called the store and were told they had another in stock that would be delivered to us the following Tuesday. Monday afternoon we get a call saying they no longer had the chair but do have one in the Newmarket warehouse and we can have delivery within 7-10 days!! We live in Barrie so it certainly doesn’t take a week to 10 days to get it here. Asked to speak to a manager who is never at work!! I’ll never purchase anything from this place again. They easily take your money and quickly forget about you. Buyer beware

I’m writing this review to warn others about my experience with Leon’s Furniture and their so-called 10-year mattress warranty.I have purchased a mattress from Leon’s along with the mattress protector they recommended, which was supposed to keep my warranty valid. After only a few years, the springs started failing, and the mattress lost its support. I reached out to Leon’s thinking it would be a simple warranty claim — especially since the issue was clearly with the springs, not any surface damage. Instead, Leon’s refused to help, saying there were a few minor stains, even though the mattress had been professionally cleaned. These stains have nothing to do with the defect, yet they used that as an excuse to deny the warranty. This is unacceptable and feels like a clear breach of their own warranty promise. I followed all their recommendations, purchased their protector, and maintained the mattress properly. Still, they refused to take responsibility for a structural issue that should absolutely be covered. I’ve kept all the documentation and will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau and Consumer Protection Ontario for failure to honor a written warranty. Be very careful when buying from Leon’s — their 10-year warranty sounds good until you actually need it. I would not recommend Leon’s Furniture to anyone based on this experience.

I purchased a couch on the 27th of August. The couch consisted of four pieces - three of which were available to ship the second week of September, and the last piece would be available some time in October. The sales rep assured us that they themselves would contact us the second week of Sept. to schedule a delivery time & date for the three pieces. They assured us they would “take care of everything for us.” Believing and relying on this assurance, my husband and I went ahead and purchased the couch - at least we’d have the three pieces to sit on (for context, we had just moved into a new apartment and were buying brand new furniture). Fast forward, more than two weeks into September, I still hadn’t heard from the sales rep. I phoned the store myself and asked about the status of my couch delivery, only to find out that the three pieces were, in fact, in the store, available and ready to be delivered. I explained to the rep on the phone that we were expecting a phone call to arrange the delivery of the couch. At that point, I wasn’t even sure how long the couch had been sitting at the store while my husband and I uselessly waited around for a phone call. The rep apologized and couldn’t provide me with a reason for the lack of communication, but she did help us arrange a delivery date. Unfortunately, apparently they do not deliver on Mondays or weekday evenings. We are expected to be present for the delivery but my husband and I both work during the day… so the delivery times are quite inconvenient. Due to this, we had to arrange for delivery on Oct. 4th. I purchased the couch on the 27th of August and finally received it on the 4th of October… it took over a month. Not super happy about that. This all may sound harsh, but this is just my honest review of my experience. Hopefully this was just a one-off experience at Leon’s. It seemed that the sales rep(s) are, understandably so, eager to make a sale, but after the sale is made, you’re just left sort of high and dry. Apart from that, I will say that the delivery operators did a great job delivering our couch. They were very nice, friendly, and professional, and communication was 10/10. And, my husband and I are really happy with our couch… it was worth the very, very long wait and lack of communication, I guess.
