  I do not believe the attorney made a genuine effort to advocate for my case. His role appeared to be limited to conveying the judge’s requirements and encouraging my compliance with the court’s order, rather than actively exploring alternative, more favorable strategies. In fact, I provided him with supporting arguments to present to the prosecutor. As a result of the agreement reached with the prosecutor, I was not required to fully comply with the court’s order. At that time, I was advised that if the case proceeded to trial, there was an 80% likelihood of success. However, after working with the attorney for two weeks, I lost confidence in his commitment to effectively advocate on my behalf, which led to my decision not to proceed to trial. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this attorney to others.

  When hiring an attorney it is important to have one who is professional, compasionate, well informed and capable. That is Alec Hanus. In dealings with Alec I have found him to be everything I would personally want in an attorney for the type of matters he assisted me with. Thank you Alec. You truly are a gem.

  Spoke to Alec about a criminal Speeding ticket. He gave me great advice which helped me calm down and told me what to expect at court. Had my ticket dismissed and given defensive driving school but had I needed him to represent me at the next court date I would have retained him gladly. Thank you Alec for your professionalism and wonderful help.

  Excellent and empathetic Attorney. He really works hard for his clients and is a very honorable person. He pled my niece's criminal traffic charge down to a civil traffic. She has been through a lot in her life and this means a lot to us. I would not hesitate to recommend him to my closest friends and family.
