The owners got the idea to open a self-serve coin laundromat after spending time at other laundromats while washing cloths for their former commercial cleaning business. They felt there was so much that could’ve been done to create an inviting atmosphere, so they decided to open their own shop and provide a bright and modern space with a vintage touch.
Named for Pearl Road—AKA Route 42—Laundromat 42 makes you feel relaxed and welcome while providing an elevated experience not found at other coin laundromats.

- ABAshley BohaczekAug 25, 20252.0clean place, thought it would be nice: prices were cheaper but there washing machines eat quarters or simply wont take them. dont waste your time & money very frustrating to have to keep trying over and over for the same results. wasted so much time just putting money into the machine & it shouldn’t have been that difficult. they need to invest in new machines or this place just isnt worth the headache.
- EKElyce KaineJun 28, 20254.0What is this I like the laundromat, they had plenty of washers and dryers, large sizes. It was clean, plenty of seating. Turn on my only complaint is, the machines only take coins. It would be nice to be able to use a card.
