The place in general is beautiful! Looks very high end and the bays and seating are very comfortable. Service is something to be desired though. I understand having to work out the kinks, but we had 1 server for a group of 12 and it took ridiculously long to get drinks and food. At the end of the night we waited 15-20 minutes to separate our checks as well because she didn't keep tally's on who was ordering what.
I would also appreciate offering some food options that aren't so "fancy". A few of us wanted a basic cheeseburger, chicken tenders, and french fries that didn't cost $9. We even asked if we could get an order of chicken tenders off of the children's menu and that was a huge "NO" from our server.

LaunchPad Golf was such a fun experience! It’s a similar concept to TopGolf, but it’s great to finally have something like this in the south metro area. My husband and I went last night for a 5:30pm reservation and had a great time. The space is modern, clean, and well-designed.
We didn’t try the food or drinks since we had dinner plans afterward, but we played for about an hour and really enjoyed it. My only small critique is that as a lefty, there weren’t any left-handed clubs readily available. The staff was great and quickly brought some out when I asked, which I appreciated.
My only suggestion would be to have the ball dispenser function on both sides of the tee. At the moment, it’s set up primarily for right-handed players, so lefties have to move the ball manually before each shot. It’s a small detail, but improving that feature would make the experience even more enjoyable for everyone.
Overall, we had a great time and will definitely be back!

Booked 2 suites a few weeks ago, asked the babysitter to come early so we could get a few drinks beforehand. Arrived an hour before our reservation and were told we couldn’t go to the bar because it was “closed for a private event”. You think that would be something they would reach out to their customers about beforehand if a reservation was in place. Sat in the car and waited while we paid a babysitter for no reason….
Not the adult golf lounge we expected -
We visited Launch Pad Golf in Prior Lake this weekend and left with mixed feelings. The space itself is nice, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Service was great, and the food was decent, nothing bad, but not really memorable enough to go back for.
What really took away from the experience was the atmosphere. Despite expecting more of an adult social setting, the place was full of families with young kids, lots of running around, crying, and kids swinging clubs and goofing off. It made it really hard to relax or enjoy the game.
At $55/hour, it felt more like a pricey child play center than an adult hangout spot. It might help if they offered designated “family hours” or separate times for adults-only play. Great staff, but not the vibe we were hoping for.

My daughter and I were just driving by and thought we’d stop in and check it out, neither one of us are real big golfers. This super cool gal named Amy met us at the door. We told her we were just looking and we’re not really into golf, she said you don’t need to be into golf to enjoy this and she hooked us up with a 30 minute session for a great deal. It was an absolute blast. Amy was so cool. She showed us how all the games worked and got us started. I will be going back again because it was super fun.
