I had the most awful experience with Diego and his company. I booked him for my daughter’s first birthday party. I found him on Google, and called him and he agreed to many different things. He agreed to a time of arriving by 7 PM and I needed him from 730 PM to 9 PM. I told him my daughter would enter on the pony by 9 PM and she would only be on it for about 10 minutes and he can leave around 915 PM. I was very honest with Diego of what type of environment it would be. I told him the venue floors are tile, there are some stairs, my daughter would sit on the pony, she is about 18 pounds, so not heavy at all, there would be food there. He can enjoy the appetizers and dinner, my daughter would have her entrance, and then he could leave. I spoke to Diego about three times in the month prior to my daughter‘s birthday. During the week of my daughter‘s birthday, I asked him if I could have some sort of written contract. He said he does not do social media or he does not do text message or emails, but he can send me a letter to my house for which I agreed to, and the letter has still not come to my house till this day. Diego gets there at 6:30 PM and is blowing up my phone calling me. I am still getting ready and not even at the venue yet, causing me to stress out. I even got a voicemail that I heard later, that if I didn’t call him back, he would leave. So already so much miscommunication there with the timing of when he should arrive and when he did arrive. So he brings in a rabbit and a guinea pig and sits by the entrance of the restaurant catering hall. I asked him to bring the rabbit and the guinea pig inside the main hall, which he did, and then goes to sit back outside. If you bring in these animals, isn’t it your job to be next to them and supervise? Also, I did not know that the animals would stay in the cage. Would you not think that since you are hiring animals to pet, they would be out of their cage, or at least on the owners lap? This did not happen. So Diego went back to sit inside the main hall upon me telling him, and people came up to the animals to pet them. By the way, they are very unsafe animals and cannot be taken out of the cage. He tried taking the rabbit out of the cage and the rabbit Seemed like it would just eat your hand off. This should have been spoken to me prior. Now come time for the entrance, he told me that the pony would not be able to go up 2 stairs, but I told him that the catering hall would have stairs. He should have also told me that the DJ should have played music at a low volume, which he did not, so in front of all my guess he is embarrassing me and the DJ by asking him to lower the music, but it was not asking it was him making faces and screaming and waving his arms and hands. The DJ lowered the music, my daughter made her entrance and Diego left. It was the most rudest and horrible customer service I ever dealt with.
