Golf CourseGolf Driving RangeGolf Instructor
18-hole course in Washington DC, established in 1939. Named after John Mercer Langston, an African American who was the first dean of the Howard University School of Law, the first president of Virginia Normal and Collegiate Institute (now Virginia State University), and the first African American elected to the United States Congress from Virginia. It was the second racially desegregated golf course in the District of Columbia, and in 1991 its first nine holes were added to the National Register of Historic Places. Other services offered at the course include a driving range with 50 slots powered by Toptracer Technology, golf school, golf shop, putting green, and snack bar. There are several "junior golf" programs for children and teens.

Great historic experience with young black Caddies and trees with so much character in the heart of the city. Great to know that investors have decided to invest more into it for the future. Cant' wait to go back there after renovations.

It’s an 18-hole public course, relatively affordable, with a driving range, putting green, and clubhouse. Many D.C. residents see it as both a recreational space and a cultural landmark. Amazing ⛳️

Ben Foster at the front desk and over the phone was super helpful. Made a mistake on my booking and he was able to accommodate my changes last minute. Wonderful service.

A great historical gem for all occasions! I had the opportunity to visit the putting range at a class reunion hosted by the Black Golfer Association. It’s a place worth patronizing, rebuilding, and supporting. The food truck served amazing catfish and more, and the instructors made it a fun, memorable time.
