Lakewood Animal Hospital is a full-service animal hospital treating the dogs & cats of Locust Grove, VA, & surrounding areas. We are located in the Marketplace at the Lake of the Woods shopping center directly across from the Lake of the Woods front entrance. Our services include wellness exams, sick visits, vaccinations, microchipping, health & travel certificates, nutrition & weight management, allergy & dermatology care, euthanasia, reproductive services, cardiology, x-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, parasite testing & prevention, pet dental, pet surgery including spay & neuter, pain management, urgent & emergency pet care services (during business hours), & more! We are open five days a week & look forward to meeting you!

- NRNancy Ro4 days ago5.0I have been taking my pup to Lakewood Animal Hospital for a year now and they have been fantastic! We have also had to put our cat down with them as well. They were very sympathetic and up front with options so we could make the best decision for our kitty. I like that they text reminders for appointments and provide links to forms so you can get all the paperwork done prior to the appointment. They also go over all the fees clearly prior to completing the service. The staff is super friendly and great to chat with. My pup loves the staff and has to say hi to everyone. I would recommend all of the doctors here.

Recently took my dog Rory over, b/c she got sick and the attention she’s gotten, has been so heart-warming! I do not trust anyone else to take care of her the way they did.

We've seen all three of their vets and feel comfortable with any of them. They may have different styles, but they're all great. Their techs and front office are all very friendly and caring, especially during difficult times. I like that I don't feel like I'm being sold unnecessary services or tests, and trust that they're always putting my pet's health first.
