I strongly recommend that NO ONE buy anything from La-Z-Boy Lake Charles. I purchased two chairs that both squeaked from the day they arrived. It took over a month just to get a technician to come to my home — from Houston, not even locally — and he confirmed that the chairs were improperly assembled and needed multiple new parts.
Since then, I’ve been unable to reach anyone for help. The Lake Charles store told me they “just sell furniture” and have no customer service, no repair responsibility, and offer no refunds. Absolutely unbelievable for a company that charges premium prices and claims to stand behind their products.
I’ve never experienced such a complete lack of accountability. Once they take your money, they disappear. Save yourself the frustration and buy your furniture somewhere else — anywhere else. La-Z-Boy Lake Charles has the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered.
My 90 and 92 yo.parents bought 2 lazyboy lift recliners 5k and both broke in less 90 days. Customer service u leave message for return call 24 to 48 hours. A lie. Manager says nothing he can do. Lazyboy used to be a great company. DO NOT WASTE UR MONEY. still no we ord and can't use chairs. No service personal has come . We keep trying but its been 3 weeks BEWARE

We couldn’t be happier with our purchase. La-Z-Boy, Lake Charles, truly exceeded our expectations. They have a large selection of chairs and sofas, and beautifully displayed. Can’t say enough about the staff; friendly, professional, and there to make sure you have an enjoyable shopping experience. Great selection of furniture at the Lake Charles store to look at. After we decided on the pieces of furniture we wanted to purchase we asked for a leather color swatch to take home before we paid for a special order. We were told a $50 deposit was required for us to take the swatch. After leaving without the swatch the store contacted us and said we could take it without a deposit. We requested the swatch on La-Z-Boy’s website and received it at no charge. Definitely price check around because we saved about $1100 with a price match on 3 pieces of furniture. We only received an email that our furniture was in. Delivery and setup was great. We got a text when they were 2 hours away and they arrived within the time frame.

I purchased a $5,000 leather loveseat and a $766 3-year extended warranty (a total of a 4-year warranty) from LazBoy Furniture Galleries on 1/8/22. The piece was not delivered until 2023, partially due to a quality control delay in which LazBoy chose to reupholster the item before delivery, citing a defect in the leather. Unfortunately, the leather was from two different dye lots. The result is a loveseat with 2 distinctly different shades of leather, which is completely unacceptable, especially one that cost > $5,000. I notified the sales rep. after noticing the leather was changing color, but no resolution. Now the stitching is loose from the back of the armrests. LazBoy is refusing to honor the warranty. Buyer Beware!
