Sales staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Had us try out different chairs to find the ones we liked. Explained everything about the fabrics and options. Didn't pressure us.

Chris was very helpful and gave us much information. Helped us select chairs with features we were interested in. Was able to help us order exactly what we wanted. Also being able to donate our old furniture was a bonus.

I waited to post this review thinking I was overreacting in the moment, but after many months later, I still think about how terrible of a buying experience I had with this company, and in particularly, the Asheville store. I ordered a partially "custom" couch (flipped chase from one side to the other). All seemed ok while shopping and purchasing, but once the ink was dry for purchase, customer service was terrible from sales associates to the distribution center. I genuinely feel bad for the field technicians as I'm sure they catch the frustrations that the sales team have proven to ignore and avoid. I called Chris, our salesperson, and the store multiple times when estimated delivery kept being pushed back, and inquiring about our faulty product, and was met with a combination of unanswered calls/messages/avoidant responses/and false information with promised follow-up which never happened- I always had to call again. When the couch finally came, only part of the couch arrived as the "custom" part wasn't ready and they "wanted to correct a part." When the delayed section of the couch arrived, the reclining mechanism was compromised and didn't work like it was supposed to. Unfortunately, we did not realize until later in the day. **ALWAYS CHECK EVERY SINGLE DETAIL OF YOUR FURNITURE BEFORE LETTING DELIVERY PEOPLE LEAVE.** A technician did come, eventually, and said that an entire piece was missing. Luckily the technician was able to fix this for us, but as I read other reviews, I see we were very lucky to get this fixed when we did and without additional costs. I chose to purchase with La-Z-Boy because of their reputation and claimed lifetime warranty. I've never really encountered a stereotypical sleazy salesperson like you see in the movies (Matilda's dad comes to mind), but those are the feelings I have when I think back to my experience working with Chris. I absolutely hate to call this man out, because it's not usually my style; however, he made promises to continue working with us while we waited for our furniture and even with the "lifetime warranty." When I reached out to him via the number on his business card and by calling the store, he was nowhere to be found, and he certainly didn't return a single call. I felt my only option was to go to the store and confront him in person, which I was pregnant at the time and very much did not feel comfortable doing so. Chris, also, wouldn't let me add my husband to the lifetime warranty, because my husband and I don't share the same last name... He said I would need to will the couch to my husband if anything were to happen to me, which seemed like a really odd thing to say. I absolutely dread the day I might have to use the lifetime warranty. The couch is nice, but honestly, nothing that special. I wish I would have spent more time reading these reviews and shopped around with other companies. I will never purchase through La-Z-Boy again.

I bought a LazyBoy sectional and recliner from the store in Asheville, NC. I drove there from Johnson City, TN, to look through the showroom. I worked with salesman Blake. He was very friendly and patient with the time I needed to find what I wanted and what would fit my great room well. I even left to have lunch and think about the two options I was considering. I went back after lunch with a decision, finalized fabric choices, and made the purchase. It was 6 to 8 weeks before I was notified that the furniture was in and ready to set up delivery. They were able to deliver the sectional and recliner a week to 10 days later. The delivery communication was great, and the delivery men did a good job of setting it up perfectly on my area rug. So far I have not had any problems. The furniture looks great in my living area! I want to mention all the people that helped me…Blake-salesman, Joy-Designer who sketched it out on paper according to the size of my room and rug, Kaylee-the Office Manager, and Tyler and David, the Delivery men. There really seems to be mixed reviews on the LazyBoy Store in Asheville, NC, but I had a great experience, and hope to have this furniture for a long time! I had a set of LazyBoy living room furniture in the past that I had for 12 years in AL. My parents bought LazyBoy in 1994, and my brother still has it in 2025. After 31 years, the beloved couch and recliner are retiring. I really hope the LazyBoy Store and brand maintains its past years of excellence! Customers deserve to receive the quality furniture that they pay for!

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS STORE!! READ REVIEWS!! I just found out that my stepmother purchased a $1200 chair from you 4 months ago. She was told the seat was 24 inches, which was what she needed. After it was delivered she found it to be a 22 inch. You would not take it back or make it right in any way. I find it absolutely despicable that you took advantage of an elderly woman on a very fixed income. She was lied to about the size of the chair in the first place. Now she has a useless, unused $1200 chair she can't use sitting in her house. You people are something.
