  Don’t get it to go. Ate here a few days ago. It was delicious. Tonight o got the same order to go because I wanted to share it with a friend who is house bound. No chocolate with the churros and the mushroom sauce had no flavor. It was also spilled everywhere. Ask for any sauce to be put in a container.

  It is so cool that this place has an entire vegan menu! Thank you so much for doing this! I would love to give the place five stars. But the weight staff didn't really know anything about the vegan food. And if it was all vegan I would totally give it all five stars! But so close! I wish I could give it 4.7 stars because it's so close! Everybody kept raving about this place. It was hard to pick something from the menu because I couldn't make up my mind as to what would be the healthiest and at the same time the most fulfilling. I went for the salad and it was definitely fulfilling! I love the portion size! And I really liked how they had something different instead of chips and salsa that usually comes out. Instead they had some sort of vegan cheese covered corn vegan Mayo. And it was so delicious! I'm definitely going back to try many more items on the Vegan menu!

  This is place is so good in so many different ways! The food is delicious, fresh and authentic as well as affordable. The staff is amazing and knew the menu and ingredients which Is important to me. I asked for no sauce because it contained dairy and they took note and brought me a vegan option and I didn't even ask them to!!!! THAT IS SO RARE TO FIND BUT SO APPRECIATED. the owner brought out our food and struck up such a nice conversation and even networked with one of our personal businesses! Awesome place and awesome ownership! WELL DONE!

  Fortunately for us, we decided to try this place this evening after reading the reviews! Unbelievably GREAT!!!!!! This is NO average, everyday mexican restaurant with a ,"Speedy Gonzalez!!!!!!" It is an EXSQUISITE, AUTHENTIC CULINARY EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!! Super-fast! I believe it was, likely, the OWNER who came out to make sure everything was GREAT! Nothing like it in Asheville! Please give this GREAT place a try!

  La Rumba, you make my food loving heart sing. Three years ago, your Latin hospitality wooed me and my taste buds. I devoured anything the bartender/owner brought my way. He shared advice about working in the restaurant industry. And his family's recipes made me cry tears of joy. It helped me so much, as a restaurant professional, to taste and experience passion of food and hospitality. I went back home to chase my career, and for three years I craved La Rumba, listened to my Caliente Playlist, and worked really hard to escape back to the mountains. I did it! Three years later, and I brought my family this time. I honestly teared up when the young lady brought out the complementary esquites. We ate the drool worthy mango habanero chicken, empanadas and chips. Mexican red rice!!! How do you do it?? Perfect grain and flavor. Plantanos, so delicious that I'll be dreaming about the flavor. I cried with my take-out boxes in my lap as we hopped back on i40 to go home. My husband promised me, that we'll visit again sooner. I miss you La Rumba!
