  I had high hopes since we've been to other La Carreta restaurants nearby that we really enjoyed. This one however was nowhere near the same and we will not be returning. Because they only offered cans and bottles of soda, which I don't like, I ordered a water to drink. The server brought me a glass of lukewarm water with no ice. Maybe my fault for not specifying that I wanted ice but I've never been served warm water before. It was gross. The menu had a few varieties of tacos and burritos and I believe 2 types of quesadillas. If there was anything else I didn't see it. I decided to get a couple different tacos so I could sample a little bit across the board. I was quite surprised when my food arrived on a paper plate! My Mexican steak taco was just ok. There were a few pieces of steak that had to be thrown out because they looked like all fat. Next was their quesabirria taco. It had a constant drip of bright orange grease. It tasted good but there was no way to get past that grease ALL over the place. Another dud to cross off the list...

  They have an outstanding Gluten Free selection! It’s difficult to find wings GF that are good! We got the plain and mango ones and 10/10 will be ordering again! Also, I’m presently on crutches and cannot use one foot at all. Going into the restaurant, an employee who was leaving, jumped out of her car, and opened the doors to make sure I was ok! The served walked me to my car as well with the takeout! Amazing food and staff!

  All around the best tacos we have ever had. You need to get the lengua and the tripe. The quesabarria is out of this world. I drove an hour for this meal and I’d be back. If you’re thinking about it, just do it.
