- PBPaula BudreauOct 9, 20251.0This place is a joke. My Mother sleeps in soiled mattresses and her brand new clothes were stolen that I had delivered. And they found her in the floor having a seizure and said the dont know how long she was laying there and laughed.
- PLPaul LeachMay 23, 20255.0Quite impressed! Mom needed extra care that was difficult for us to give her due to her health. After several facility tours in the Kankakee county area we decided to go with Labella. I'm not a staff nor do I have relations to one. When Mom first got there the administrator of this facility personally greeted us. The facility was clean and inviting. Staff were also welcoming. We are on day 5 mom stated this morning that the staff are treating her well and food is good. We definitely hope this continues. We are definitely pleased with our decision and can truly sleep at night knowing she's being cared for. We want to thank all staff for taking care of Mom, we truly appreciate all you do. Update: 6-23-25, just a little over a month and mom truly love the care she receives here. She feels comfortable and making new friends; she's also participating in many activities offered. Again, we truly appreciate all you do to keep her safe and WARM mom is grateful.
- AAARDec 7, 20231.0My mom has been here for over a year. I am always stopping by to bring my mom dinner. They do not offer a weekly or monthly food calendar. What they do serve looks questionable at times. My mom said last night her food looked like dog food. She asked the aide what was it and the aide giggled nervously and said she had no idea. My mom then blurted out, well it looks like dog food. And the aide didn’t reassure her or anything. They need help with their meal planning and options. The food should not look like dog food nor should it taste like dog food. There’s a new director but she doesn’t listen to feedback by the residents.
