They were prompt. Their prices were fair. They were very nice people and easy to work with.
We had them remove a lot of trees, and then remove all of that wood as well as other wood around our property. We also had them grind a lot of stumps all around our property.
We highly recommend them and will definitely use them again.

Why is it necessary for a tree company to have insurance?
By its very nature, tree work is dangerous and should only be done by a professional. Liability insurance is important because it protects you, the homeowner, and your property from potential risk and damage. Workman’s compensation insurance protects tree professionals while they are working on a job. When you are seeking to hire a tree company, be sure to request proof of comprehensive insurance from their insurance carrier before any work is started. If you have any doubts, call the insurance carrier for verification.
What if a tree needs to be removed, will my property be protected?
We take every precaution necessary to protect your property and minimize any impact on the landscape. For example, our crews lay down protective material over sensitive areas when necessary. Further, our foremen and crews are extremely experienced in all types of removals and pruning including hand work, aerial lift, and crane work. Our clients constantly compliment us by mentioning that it is almost impossible to tell we were on their property other than to perform tree work!
How old are my trees?
Trees, like us, have a life span. Depending on species and environment, trees can live for hundreds of years. There are still many large trees alive today that were living when our country was founded. Knowing the history of your outdoor home will help you determine the age of your trees as some may be part of the original landscape and others added later on. Unfortunately, the best way to tell a tree’s age is to count the growth rings when it is cut down - something we want to avoid!
Do I need a permit to remove a tree?
Maybe. Some municipalities in the area do require a permit for removing trees. It often depends on the size and the location of the tree, whether the tree is a hazard, whether it is a street tree, an invasive species, etc.
Do I have to be home for the removal process?
No. As long as you can provide the contractors with access to the property and a way you can be reached if needed, you do not need to be home for the process.
Is it ok to remove trees close to the house?
A towering tree close to your house can provide important shade and shelter, along with impressive beauty and drama. Sometimes, though, that nearby tree can pose a serious threat. Growing branches can scratch and bang up the siding or roof of the house. A buildup of leaves and sticks on the roof can contribute to rot. The roots of a large tree can destroy the foundation of your home, causing cracking and other issues. A tree near the house might require more careful planning and work to remove, but it can be done safely by a reputable tree service company. To help you decide whether the tree next to your home has to go, schedule an appointment. Our experts have the tools needed to map the location of the roots of the trees around your home. Once you have this, you can more easily ascertain whether the trees are a true threat to your foundation.
Why Use Crane Work for Tree Services?
• Safety: Utilizing a crane significantly reduces the risk of property damage and injury, especially when dealing with large, unstable, or awkwardly positioned trees.
• Efficiency: Crane work allows for quicker removal or maintenance of trees, minimizing disruption to your property and daily activities.
• Accessibility: Cranes provide access to trees in tight or hard-to-reach areas, where traditional methods may not be feasible.
• Reduced Impact: By lifting sections of the tree vertically, crane work minimizes the impact on the surrounding landscape, preserving your property's integrity.
What is the difference between topping and pruning?
Topping is the excessive removal of parts of a tree, while pruning is the selective removal of certain limbs.
When to trim trees?
The Best time to trim trees is in the fall or winter when the leaves have fallen and the trees are dormant. This makes it easier to see the branches and wounds heal more quickly. Tree care professionals can trim most mature trees every 3–5 years. Trees should otherwise be removed if they are diseased, dying, a hazard, or interfering with a home structure.
