I've got a problem with their repair department. I bought a Stihl chain saw from another dealer. L&M shows up as an authorized repair center. I noticed as I was bringing it in, there was a $50 diagnostic charge. So even if it is under warranty , you pay the $50!! I told the guy behind the desk I had bought it elsewhere & they would have to contact Stihl to see if it was under warranty. When you buy a Stihl from any dealer they lo register it with Stihl & they can look it up. If they are going to be that stupid about warranty , Stihl should take there name off as being s repair center. Right after I bought the chain saw, I bought a weed eater from L & M , they charge $10 for an assembly fee! You have no choice of how you buy it! As far as I know, no other dealer charges for that! I am done with them.

While it has a bigger supply of things than Virginia or Hibbing, the place is a dirty mess. The restroom door had some kind of sticky film on it, grossed me out. Not to mention a flannel shirt cost $109. I'm not sure about you, but for that hefty a price tag, this sucker better do the dishes, too!

I visited the Grand Rapids L&M today and Ieft fuming. As soon as I walked in, there was this loud drilling sound right by the entrance. What a nice greeting! I asked an employee what it was and they told me it was “just” the sink in the men’s bathroom. Apparently it’s been broken for weeks, and instead of fixing it they’re just leaving the water running because that “solves” the problem. It tracks with the rest of the store. The place feels dirty, neglected, and like no one really cares. If management thinks wasting water nonstop is acceptable, it’s no surprise the whole place feels run-down. Fix your store. Fix the sink. Show some basic responsibility to your customers and the environment
