  The website said open 24/7 and no job too small. I called 5 days ago. No one answered the phone at 9 am. I left a message to call me back about repairing shingles on my roof after a wind storm. I have never heard from anyone. Someone could have called me back. Website is misleading. Poor customer service.

  Matt Nichols is the most reliable, knowledgeable and friendly and prompt builder we've ever had. His work is perfect because he demands perfection of himself, his cleanup is a dream, and his assistant, Shawn, is equally competent and willing to assist in every way. He guaranteed his work for us. Every item is accounted for in his invoice. My husband wants to adopt Matt as our third son. It is a pleasure working with someone as intelligent as he is. He is a graduate of the University of Maine, Orono, and he should have been graduated with high honors!

  Matt Nichols contracting was recommended by a neighbor. He actually built their home, which is beautiful and finely built. Matt is willing to take on smaller jobs as well, which is what he did for us. Giving us access to an eve on the 2nd floor of our home, we didn't have before. He fully insulated that space and crafted a door in the rear of a closet to have access should we need it. Cannot say enough about the quality of work I've seen done by this business. Prompt, careful, tidy, has a great crew working for him. If needed he can direct you to someone good in the various trades, plumbing, electrician, masonry etc.... Highly recommend L.E. Nichols & Son of Harrington Maine
