The waiter is so slow. I don’t understand why there are empty tables but no one cleans them so new customers can sit down. We just have to wait there doing nothing. Watching him move around is honestly frustrating — he’s not efficient at all. Every time he goes to the kitchen, he only carries one item, and when he comes back, his hands are empty. Why can’t he just clean the table while he’s at it?

10/4/2025 Kusan Bazaar 634 N San Antonio Rd Mountain View, CA 94043 I went there for a late lunch on a Saturday. This new place is in the CVS plaza at San Antonio and ECR. Lots of parking. The setup is long and narrow with a new contemporary table, bench and bar seating. The menu is a combination of Mediterranean and Chinese cuisines. I chose to sit at the bar counter and quickly ordered the Uyghur salad and lamb kebab skewers. My salad was brought shortly and consisted of julienned tomato, bell pepper and onion with a light vinaigrette dressing with no red chili pepper. I was told later that the menu was in error and that the menu had several inaccuracies. The salad was fresh and refreshing. The lamb came on two wooden skewers and was medium, seasoned with cumin, moist and a little chewy, I got one fatty piece which was delicious. I should order it medium rare the next time. A solid and tasty find for fast service good value food in a convenient location. Definitely repeatable.

3/10 Beef noodle soup / pho was quite bland, lacked any semblance of flavor, seasoning, or richness. The beef was overcooked and sliced too thick, noodles were also under seasoned. 8/10 Chicken kabobs were good, served fresh, and seasoned well 5/10 Beef dumplings were served warm instead of hot. Filling was overcooked, chewy, and under seasoned. The restaurant was clearly understaffed with only one server on a busy Sunday night which made the service very slow

Beef noodle soup, dumplings, and samsa were great! Lamb kabob tasted very strange.. (maybe too much cumin) Golden crispy roasted lamb rib was 90% fat. 😬 Pilaf was ok, lacking flavor. The worst was the table water in plastic containers. It smelled and tasted like stale plastic water. Is it that difficult to keep water in glass containers? UPDATE/RESPONSE: What is the point of these AI-generated responses from the business? They are meaningless.

We had an amazing experience here! The food was fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic. • Laghman: Perfectly hand-pulled noodles, chewy and springy with just the right bite. We asked for not spicy and it was still packed with flavor. • Flat Noodles with Cold Chili Chicken: A fantastic pairing — the wide noodles were smooth and hearty, while the chili chicken added just the right kick of spice and tenderness. Together, it made for a balanced and memorable dish. • Beef Noodle Soup: Comforting, rich broth with generous slices of beef — we actually loved it so much we ordered a second bowl! The portions were hearty, and everything came out quickly and well-prepared. You can tell the noodles are made with care, and the seasoning was balanced — not overly salty or oily like some places. Overall, this spot is a gem if you’re craving authentic noodles and bold flavors. We’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends!
