  First called to learn more about their TMJ services and if they bill insurance as their website states “ the treatment of TMJ (TMD) may be covered by your insurance provider. Our helpful office staff can assist you seeing if you qualify.” I was immediately told they “don’t do that”. I followed up with an email and a screenshot of their website hoping it was just a communication issue. Denise who responded seemed less than thrilled to be doing her job. After some back and forth of me asking questions but getting vague one line replies, I decided this isn’t the best fit for me. So while I can’t speak to the doctor or other facets of the practice, trying to get more info and even schedule was enough to know this was a pass for me.

  I first visited Koehn Dentistry a little over three years ago for TMJ treatment. The initial appointment was incredibly thorough, and I decided to move forward with Botox in hopes it would help. Now, three years later, I’ve been able to gradually space out my appointments and have seen long-lasting results. I had no idea how much my TMJ was impacting my daily life until I started seeing relief. I really appreciate that the doctor explained the goal was to eventually reduce treatment frequency, and we’ve even been able to lower the number of units used at my last visit. It’s clear they genuinely care about their patients and aren’t just trying to make a quick buck. The entire team is friendly, professional, and supportive. Highly recommend!
