On June 30th, Auto Glass Now to my house to pick up my car after a bad windshield replacement that caused water damage. The car was kept by the shop for repairs until August 9th. When they attempted to return the vehicle, they reported that it was shaking and now has an engine issue.
This engine problem did not exist when the car was picked up on June 30th, and I did not cause this issue. The windshield replacement and subsequent handling by the shop directly led to the water damage, and now my car has a serious mechanical problem.
I filed a complaint with State Farm regarding the windshield replacement and resulting damage. However, despite being a long-time client, I have not received any assistance or resolution. Communication from the agency has been poor, including an incident where I was spoken to in a disrespectful manner by staff, which has added to my frustration.
I am requesting that the shop take full responsibility for the engine issue and repair my vehicle at no cost. If the shop refuses, I seek appropriate reimbursement for repairs from the responsible party. I also request that State Farm provide support in resolving this claim without jeopardizing my policy. Customer service is customer service. I get the claims is out of your hands but no way anyone think its okay to talk to me disrespectfully.
