The place felt soulless honestly and if I didn’t want anything, my husband said he would’ve walked out. When I walked in, not one of the two workers greeted me. I initiated a “hello, how are you.” Then, as I was looking at the products in the display case, nobody came over to ask what I would like. They stood across the store the entire time just looking at me and then my husband had to talk across the store to tell them I wanted a caramel apple. Also, the caramel apple wasn’t even cut before being packaged (I’ve never been to a chocolate store that didn’t pre-cut the apple before wrapping it up. I know that sounds small but who actually eats a caramel apple like that?) Maybe this was the employees first customer service job, but they need to do better. Coach your employees to actually interact with your customers and make the place feel inviting and like you want my $.
