  We very much enjoyed our meal at Khorasan Kabab. The humus is outstanding. The falafel was also quite good. For our entree, the filet mignon Kabab was definitely our favorite. There is a free parking lot in the back.

  Excellent Afghan food with attentive service. Very quiet for a week day lunch so easy to have a great conversation. I definitely plan to return. We shared a kabob platter which worked out nicely.

  One of the best asian food i’ve ever tried in new jersey. their afghani cuisine not only authentic but also they preserves their taste very unique! a lot of parking places behind the restaurant and interior was pretty good so they definitely deserves five star from me! a recommended place for everyone who loves to eat afghani and turkish cuisines!

  The food was delicious and came out in a timely manner and the servers were friendly. My only complaint was that our appetizers came out first, way ahead of our beverages. This wouldn't have been a problem if the drinks came a minute after the food but we must have had our appetizer plates and bread for at least 10 to 15 minutes with no drinks. My husband thought maybe they were freshly making my coconut water from real coconuts but when I asked the 2nd time for our drinks, our server went to the back of the dining room, pulled our drinks out of a fridge in prepackaged containers, and brought them over to us. There was no reason our drinks should have taken that long. Aside from that, it was a great experience and could definitely see us returning!

  I’m shocked by the negative reviews at this establishment. These are hard working people who serve amazing dishes. The food is absolutely outstanding — every dish I have ever ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. They add different sauces and freshly cut veggies to every order, which I appreciate. The food gets delivered HOT! Bread HOT! Veggies crunchyyyy rice freshly made. The meats and kabobs perfectly grilled with the spices and HOT!!! and the rice is always fragrant. This Metuchen community is lucky to have an authentic afghan restaurant near them. Also the portions are generous and the prices are more than fair for the quality you receive. If you eat moderately, one order feeds two people! Amazing!!!!! I am very pleased with this food and their services. every single order is amazing! Thank you very much and ignore the bad reviews. You can’t please everyone! And not everyone recognizes quality :)
