However, the price seems very high, and during the process I was presented with the option for a "high performance" version of the key with the edges de-burred, for an extra fee, of course. What? It's already twice the price of Ace hardware down the street for key duplication. I was in a hurry so I did it without the deburring. It looked terrible and occasionally does not open the lock correctly. These kiosks are awful and I won't use them again. It screams Silicon Valley B.S. The machine is designed intentionally to provide you with an inferior product, hoping you will pay extra to have it done correctly. Shame.
