Seems like they are cutting corners and now if you want a real working key, you need to lay the extra 3 dollars to get the "HD precision cut" instead of hedging your chances with the basic service. Threw the key in the trash and went to a locksmith that did it for 2 dollars. Insane scam.

Then I was asked to pay $550 by a guy with a drill to break my lock because he claimed he wasn’t able to just open it himself. Then he asked me to just Venmo him directly which was so so shady. Got very combative when I asked to speak to his boss to confirm the payment wasn’t shady. I’m sure I got exploited so PLEASE (unless you are desperate like I was) do research and take your business somewhere else
