  Honorable business from my experience. Customer service did take some effort, but they came through and resolved my issue properly in the end, and I’m very thankful for the way they handled it. I called to have a spare key fob made for my car after accidentally leaving it behind in a boat. (I knew I would get it back, but needed an additional one made) The first and second technicians both had difficulties with the vehicle’s coding and I was left with the service completed incorrectly. (1 working key, while the other was now deleted from the car software) KeyMe sent out a third technician a few weeks later to resolve everything. In the end, the service was fully completed and for a fair price. As a heads up, this is essentially a dispatch service for private locksmith contractors. The phone operator and first two technicians that worked on my vehicle had difficulty understanding English, which may have lead to miscommunication of expectations. The customer service representative, Jennie, and final technician who completed the service were exceptional to work with in every way.

  Buyers beware. Very very late, over priced, not very skilled and destroyed doorknob. Not trustworthy. Definitely don’t call in an emergency. Locked out of apartment and they said 35-45 min but didn’t arrive until 2 hours later. I had to keep checking in with them and just got the b.s. run around. After an hour I called and he said the locksmith will be there soon and would find out and call me right back. 10 min no call, call them .. oh sorry he’s 15 min away but come to find out in keymes language that means 30-40 more min later when the locksmith FInally arrived. At least the locksmith I called before had the decency to say that he didn’t have anyone on my side of town. Poor business practices. So they wanted to hang up the phone before telling me a price so I asked how much, $29 to have them come out 2 hrs after you call, and $55 and up depending on lock and what needs to be done. It’s a simple doorknob that was too difficult for this guy to pick. Which I believed at the time but found out later today that this doorknob is cheap and can easily be opened with a credit card. This was legit been done here with a card. This locksmith had to get his drill and destroy the doorknob. Even that took less than a minute. $154 for a destroyed doorknob. I could have broke it myself if I knew this was the kind of service provided. Get this though, $154 is the discount price they gave me since I had to sit out side 3-4 times longer than they said it would be. So normally it’s $180 for them to ruin your doorknob. That didn’t even come with a replacement knob, It would probably cost an arm and a leg with keyme Horrible experience. Horrible service. Horrible business practices. Buyer beware. UPDATE: Sent them an email over a week ago and received no reply. Their response to this review is just for show. Do not use them. Same type of response I got that they would take care of me for being so late and giving me the run around. They did not take care of me. Use at your own risk.
