I was only trying to see how much it would be to get a new key for my car, because my car keys were stolen. And like 5 different companies called me. It was wierd.I was told $500, which was absolutely crazy to me. Then they showed up without notice. But we were desperate because my car definitely would of been stolen that night, as my other car was stolen earlier in the day. After 15 mins of them in my car tell me it was unsuccessful but still wanted $250. I called them back immediately and told them absolutely not. My daughter last month lost her car key. It's her first car, and I was calling lock smith's in between work. I called KeyMe first (forgot this is who I didn't like last time) and then I recieved SEVERAL phone calls from different numbers they I definitely did not call about rekeying the car. Crazy annoying! I'm pretty sure for the most part it's just a scam company that can do the minimum.
