I really wanted my keys to work!! Got three copies made but none of them did. Would be happy to change review if alternate solution was presented to me.

The locksmith was excellent. But the prices were usury. I spent $970 for a new electronic door lock and three re-keys. They charged me $250 for the electronic lock that costs less than $100 at the store, replaced three locks (not just the re-key that I asked for) and then charged me $25 per extra key requested (they didn’t offer any free key.) plus extra fees. While I will admit that I should have pushed harder for a quote, I asked three times. In my defense, they took one lock with them and promised to call with a quote. They never called and when they came back, the locksmith just said, the “company will call you.” The quality of work was excellent. But if you need a lock change, contact anyone else. Only use these folks if it is an emergency.

I was planning to get a key made before I left on vacation so my neighbor could take care of my cat. I figured I'd have to make an additional stop at a hardware store, Lowe's, or Walmart. Low and behold on my way out of Kroger's there was your kiosk. I was apprehensive at first because I despise using any kiosks and I only had one house key. I didn't want this machine chewing up my only key !! Who would I go to if something went wrong?? The step by step instructions were clear enough, but I'll admit I was worried. Pulled out my original key, new key to completed, went home. Key works. Very satisfied, very convenient. Good idea to put the kiosk in grocery stores. Instructions are clear. Older folks such as myself might feel a little intimated, but I'd use it again and probably will. Thanks.
