I was locked out without my phone, so I asked my downstairs neighbor if she could call a locksmith and this was the first one she called and they said it would be 30 minutes, which was fine, it ended up being like 45 minutes but at this point I'm melting so just get me in. That I wouldn't have been too upset about, could have just let slide, but immediately he told me it was going to be $200 because my knob was a"smart" knob! It has been a while since I have locked myself out but last time I did wasn't that long ago and I only got charged $50 from a much less sketchy man! But waiting for that guy had been about 30 minutes too and my dog, who is sick, was panting from the heat, I don't want him to be out here any longer, I don't want to be out any longer, it will make this month right but fine! This man used a freaking hammer, not picks! It took him at least ten minutes when the other place got in in under a minute, then! At one point he even said he might need to drill the door knob, and said that would be another 400, I told him I couldn't afford that so he said okay and tried again, finally got it and my dog rushes to the water. If that had been the end, if have paid the 200, and let it go. He just charged me 400! That's almost my rent!! I don't know how I'm going to buy groceries and my dogs medication! I'm in tears writing this, I feel scammed and taken advantage of! NEVER CALL HERE IF YOU GET LOCKED OUT!!!
