Yesterday (12/21/20) I got locked out of my car in a midst of pouring rain, crazy gusts of wind and snow. My down filled coat was totally soaked through in 10min of standing outside in this weather. I don't even know why my Ford 2015 locked all doors when keys were inside. Typically, you can lock my car only by pushing a button on a key from outside of the car. Nonetheless, I was running from one in-home care client to the other and just took my dog out for a quick potty break when we were done I couldn't open the car and keys were inside on the seat. I called KeyMe Locksmith and they sent a locksmith, but operator will tell you that she doesn't know the price of this service. Locksmith called said he'll be there in 20min and if it is ok. I said yes. Nothing was mentioned in regards to the cost of a service. He came on time and opened my car in 5 minutes however he charged me $250 for it...He said the price only when the job was already done. When I called I gave West Seattle Beach Drive address of my client...maybe this played a role in such an outrageous price as everyone knows that only rich can afford to live there... however I just work there. I'm still shocked by the price...also due to the fact that my other client had her front door lock replaced days before by the same company and she payed only $149 for the lock itself and $29 for locksmith service. This locksmith didn't have to replace nothing for me...and I anticipated a similar price at worst case scenario. I'm never using this company again...not for me, not for my clients!
