  The machine worked well but a little pricey for a regular door lock key where homedepot it would have cost $3 them most where I paid $12 and change to much money... Richard Porrazzo

  It’s convenient, but, I was very surprised by the significant price increase since the last time I used one of your machines (which was less than a year ago.) But the most significant surprise and disappointment came when my copies came out and they were made out of aluminum which, for a key, can’t possibly be very durable. To make matters worse, the keys were actually a dollar more expensive than the brass option. I would expect aluminum keys to be at least 40% cheaper than a brass or steel key. I think it wasn’t just that I was surprised that the keys were a different material than I thought they would be… But that aluminum keys would even be an option… I’ve used hundreds of keys in my lifetime and I can’t remember ever even seeing one that was made of aluminum. My prediction is this will result in a situation where a key that I actually spent more for than one of better quality, will only last a 10th of a time as a brass key… So, impractical terms, these aluminum keys could end up costing me more than 10 times as much as a brass key. I’ll definitely look into other options the next time I need to copy a key… There’s a sliding scale when judging the value of convenience and I think the significant increase in the price and significant decrease in quality of the copies I’ve just had made has, for me, tipped that scale.

  This company uses contractors that will come to your location, fine that’s understandable Tech arrived in the time frame he said he would; did the job but he wanted a tip, I tip regardless. He wanted a even bigger tip than the 15.00 I was giving. He told my hubby you tip me & I will give you something so the tip goes to 35.00, hubby gets extra key that only unlocks door-unacceptable. Then he says key cost 200.00 anywhere else. When I told the Tech I’m calling the company on him he quickly turned around & bought that tip back. What am I suppose to do with a key that won’t start the vehicle bad enough the price was HIGH. I don’t mind paying for services rendered and tip But you are not and will not get over on me. The name on the truck that came out was BUDGET Locksmith
