Then he left to get a part and put it back together. It worked for 6 days and then stopped locking. I was charged $316 and was told to Venmo the money to an account that did not have a company name so I didn’t have to pay sales tax. It was sketchy but I paid it. He said he saved me a lot of money but I found the lock insert online at Home Depot for $20 after it stopped working. They offered to come back to look at it “free of charge” but denied my request for a refund. I didn’t feel comfortable having them come back because I didn’t feel like they’re a legit company, especially if they’re using Venmo for payment. The photos show that the latch doesn’t move in either the locked or unlocked position.
