- CACee AlveyOct 14, 20251.0I called this business because they were local and I assumed they would be decent to deal with after I accidentally locked myself out of my house after a run around 6pm on a Wednesday. They told me they’d be there in 20-30 minutes. Perfect. I’ve never been so disappointed. The locksmith arrived, didn’t ask any questions about the type of lock I needed undone. He put some inflatable bags in the doorframe and goes “it’s going to be uhh $150. I mean $250” “I’m sorry… dollars?! it’s a turn lock and not a deadbolt.” He goes “well, what’s your budget?” I beg your finest pardon?! - my budget? There should be a set price for this. He then tries to talk down his price of $250… $150, $100.. to “what can you afford?”. I told him to back away from my door and leave because I’d call a more reputable company. He pretended to call his manager (it went to vm) then he tried to offer me a lower rate. I called another locksmith company, dispatched them and all the sudden, the “manager” of this company called me and again asked me “well, what’s your budget??” Like this is a normal thing for them. The manager then “authorized” the price the other more reputable company offered me. Needless to say, I will never use this company or recommend them to anyone else. They are getting reported to the BBB.
