TBH a lot of this is from another’s experience because they are TOO SCARED of retaliation to post themselves (legit said they were scared of being killed—might have been an overreaction, but vandalism wouldn’t be out of the question…), but I did personally interact with one of the guys. These guys were told we closed at 3:15; at 3:30 I told them to leave since we’ve been closed for awhile (another staff was too nervous to tell him). He asked if he could stay just 5 more minutes to finish, and I told him he could not because we have been closed and he was supposed to already be gone. He did not seem happy that he had to leave. I was told that after he left, he came back and was banging on the door to try to get back in. The other staff was so scared she hid in the bathroom until he was gone. The next day I was informed that the door knob he installed was NOT the kind we wanted—we’ve had it before and it’s trash. We also weren’t given the code to be able to open it, so have to leave it unlocked. The guy also did not install the other lock & handle that we needed replaced. We hired another company to replace the other lock & handle, and apparently had no response from these guys for well over a week. I was told these guys still demanded the entire money they gave the quote for, despite only completing half the work (in a way we didn’t approve). They apparently were literally SCREAMING on the phone and came across as very threatening (hence the fear of retaliation). Needless to say, we will NEVER recommend these guys!
